Les Mexicains utilisent une technique assez ingénieuse pour profiter de leur hamac en cas de chaleur intense : ils le placent au congélateur ou le trempent dans de l’eau froide. Cette méthode méconnu en Europe, offre un soulagement instantané et permet de ressentir la fraicheur instantanément. Cependant, il est important de noter que cette technique ne doit pas être utilisée après une exposition prolongée au soleil.

2 quality controls are carried out for all our hammocks: The first, at the end of the manufacturing process by the craftsman, the second, by Hammock del Sol, before shipping to our customers.

100% Nylon
Polyamide, better known as "Nylon", is a fairly dense fiber. Its strong resistance to breakage allows it to preserve the threads in case of tension. It is a strong and durable fabric. Easier to care for than cotton, Nylon does not wrinkle, does not crease easily and retains its shape even after washing.
Heat/UV: Nylon does not degrade when exposed to heat or ultraviolet rays, which is not the case with Polypropylene for example.
Moisture: Nylon has a low absorption rate, which makes this fabric ideal for moisture unlike cotton. When a Nylon Hammock is stretched, its fibers become fine and smooth while maintaining their strength.

Buckle protector:
In order to better protect the rings that are often stressed during constant use, we systematically include buckle protectors to prevent wear and tear on them.

Weight:
4 kg! Certainly the thickest and most robust Mexican XXL Hammock on the market.

Unique model:
As this is a handmade work, measurements and finishes may vary slightly from one model to another. Each hammock is hand woven by different artisans, which is why each model is unique.

Good to know:
The more ropes in the arms on each side, the longer the swing will last.

Care
Be careful with rings, watches, bracelets because they can get tangled and create a small tear. In this case, it is recommended to stretch it and try to repair the threads one by one.

Washing
It is recommended to wash him from the sixth month. Dip it in a bucket with soap and water. Spread the handles on each side to avoid tangling the arms. Let it soak for 30 minutes, rinse in the same way and hang it in the sun.

Attachment
The hammock is attached with ropes or straps (trees, posts, beams) or hooks (concrete or stone walls). If the trees or walls are too far away, you will have to extend the hammock. Don't worry, for this, use our Colombian ropes (handmade) or our straps kit, in the color of your hammock.

Installation
We always recommend that you try to attach it with a banana curve. The 2 rings of the hammock should be fixed between 3.40m and 3.50m long and 1.80m to 1.90m high. Make sure that this curve is not too low (70cm from the ground).

Good to know
The real way to use a hammock is to lie on the diagonal. This offers a better position for the back, after that, it's up to you, you can rest on your back, on your side or even on your stomach like many Latinos who are used to sleeping like this in their Hammock, since birth.
